“SLOW BURN”

A revolutionary advertising collaboration between the telecom brand, Sprint and the Emmy-nominated NBC television drama, “HEROES

After committing to a 40 million dollar media buy on the NBC, Sprint delivered a challenge to its marketing partners at the network: The brand wanted to do something different; something that, before that moment, had been considered impossible. And, so… SLOW BURN was born.

The project broke new ground in both product placement and on-air advertising using the HEROES storyline, actors and sets to tell a ten episode serialized story within a story - both on-air and online - featuring Sprint’s then newest device, the Palm Pre. With substantial experience as both a television writer & advertising executive, Matt Ragghianti & Regular Beans were brought aboard to bridge the gap between the showrunners and the network and spent several months serving as Managing Producer across every phase of the project.

During this time Matt was the point of contact for the brand, its creative agency, media agency, the HEROES showrunners as well as the network’s legal and marketing departments and, while there were some very long nights, we believe the results speak for themselves.

“SMART GIRLS = SMART WORLD”

A global intiative from tech giant Intel to seeking to shine a light on the difficulty accessing education in the developing world.

Regular Beans was approached by Participant Media about a unique project commissioned by one of their largest clients: Intel

The brand wanted to amplify what it believed to be core message - that technology is for everyone, and that by sharing that technology with the world, we all have a better chance at a better life. Focusing on the enormous struggle girls in the developing world face simply trying to go to school, Regular Beans was given carte blanche to create a Hero Spot to bring attention to the issue, as well as a comprehensive web platform to allow viewers to support this initiative and even to contribute financial assistance to those who might otherwise never have the chance to see what they can learn… and what they can do.

Regular Beans is honored to have participated in this important project.
